Laredo’s school districts announce the instructions for the Valentine’s Day and Campus – KGNS

Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – United Independent School District (UISD) will monitor Valentine’s Day on Thursday, February 13th.

All campuses and offices will be closed on Friday, February 14 and Monday, February 17th. These weekends were planned by the Committee for the Calendar of the District.

UISD is reminiscent of parents, students and staff to follow the rules for what is allowed on the campus.

Brenda Moreno Medina, a UISD spokesman, said the area would not allow certain objects on the campus. “We do not allow any supplies to the campus and we will not allow balloons, ceramic or glass objects, plush toys or some toys, larger than two feet tall,” Medina said. “We also want to avoid anything that can be distracted in the classroom.”
