Laredo’s lawyer clarifies the “wrong perceptions” about the client’s sentence – KGNS

Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Laredo’s lawyer addresses what he says are misconceptions about his client’s case.

Last week, Jamal Brown was found guilty of two of the four charges after a two-day trial in the 406th District Court. Brown’s lawyer, Robert Gutierrez, claims that some reports are wrongly suggest that his client has been sentenced to all points. He stressed that they had provided favorable results, given the potential for prolonged sentence and strict conditions for conditional release.

Although Brown has been sentenced to 9.5 years in prison, Gutierrez notes that he reserves the right to appeal.
