This is the biggest day of the year for football fans and lovers of commercial ones. However, while some feel the clip of rising prices, others say they do not feel the heat so much.
According to the ruling member of Ringo’s barbecue, Jorge Gutierrez, “the prices became the highest during Covid and then they somehow get off. The only thing we are hurting right now is eggs and I think everyone hurts eggs, but our prices in what we have seen are quite stable for a long time. “
Gutierrez says they are preparing for the big day, like every weekend, to meet their clientele’s demands.
Adding: “This is the big one. This is the one you want to celebrate and have a bunch of barbecues, so we cook extra breasts. We will have an extra barbecue for all those orders we expect to enter. “
For the business that takes care of the Super Bowl parties, constant prices are relief. Although for some buyers such as Larendoan Marco Posas, the story is different.
“I noticed that the meat has risen in the price is not as before. We can hardly afford it, even if we divide the costs between the people who will attend the clock party on Sunday, “Posas said.
As for the price of the goods that the festivities this weekend, Posas says inflation is guilty. However, Posas and his friends will gather to celebrate and watch their beloved team of Kansas City’s superiors.
Adding, “Many of my friends have not had plans to watch the game, but I will host them on their house and have fun.”
Despite the mixed reactions, Laredoans do not allow prices to prevent them from enjoying the Super Bowl Sunday as the spirit of the game remains strong.
In another note, according to the US Labor Statistics Bureau, there are still a few snacks that will cost users a little more this year, including Guacamole, Artichoke Dip, Veggie Platters and Wings.
