LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The Republic of the Rio Grande Museum in Laredo is inviting the public to explore Strange possessions exhibit, a collection of haunted objects collected by the Laredo Society for Paranormal Research.
The exhibit features 20 eerie relics, including a doll called “Little Lulu” that some say moves on its own, and a crown belonging to a prom queen who died.
“These objects carry a heavy energy,” said Sandra Ardonis, the museum’s director. She encourages visitors to “enter if you dare.”
On Friday, November 1, the exhibit is open from 7 to 9 p.m. and will continue on Saturday, November 2 as part of Laredo’s Dia de los Muertos events in partnership with Laredo’s Main Street, the Laredo Arts Center, the Consulate of Mexico and La Posada Hotel. The museum will also be handing out marigold and Dia de los Muertos brochures at 5:00 PM in front of the San Agustin Cathedral.
The Frontier Heritage Museum, located at 810 Zaragoza St., will be open Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance is free.
