LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – This weekend why not take a break from the usual and immerse yourself in some live theater? Ricardo Castillon, director of the play “Let the right one in”joined KGNS today Wednesday morning to share details about the exciting production.
The play, adapted from the novel and the famous Swedish film, is scheduled to take the stage in Laredo for two weekends from October 24-27 and again from October 31 to November 3. Directed by Castillon with creative direction by Damaris Guzman, the story follows a young boy struggling to fit in who meets a mysterious girl with a dark secret. Castillon describes the show as “spooky and scary” but full of heart, with the usual mix of vampirism, murder and friendship.
Featuring Laredo’s cast of seasoned actors and talented high school students, the play promises to captivate audiences. All performances begin at 8:00 p.m., and while it’s family-friendly, Castillon rates the play as a PG-13 production.
Tickets are available both online and at the door. The Laredo Little Theater is located at 4802 Thomas Ave.
