Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – The 47th WBCA Jalapeño Annual Festival was full of fun and excitement this weekend, with many events to enjoy.
Saturday night, February 22, included music from the Randy Rogers and Intocable band, which shook the scene at El Metro Park and Ride. The crowd was energized as both groups played their hits.
The popular Jalapeño eating competition was another big event, such as Richard Heatwave Berler of KGNS serves as time security. He was excellent for his years of dedication as a stopwatch and for celebrating his 45th anniversary in KGNS.
The El Groto competition was also part of the celebration, adding to the lively atmosphere of the festival. Families had a great time in food stands and other fun activities throughout the day.
