Snapshot from the LCU and SHC series

  • LCU and Mobile, Ala. Spring Hill College -based has met twice before, and they both led to SHC wins during the Naia Softball Championship in 2013 in Columbus, GA. SHC won 9-1 on May 25, 2013 and 4-2 on May 25, 2013.
  • The loss on May 25, 2013 put Spring Hill College in the National Championship game and also served as the latest LCU game in Naia (went to NCAA Division II next season). Along with the deterioration of the elimination of the Naia championships with the loss, the LCU coincided with the then program record with 14 runners and they had five outs as a result of “wadding from the dough box”.

Friday –
Game 1a – Lubbock Christian – No.8 North Georgia (canceled)

Due to the rains of the rains along the Gulf coast, several matches were delayed, pushed and/or canceled and for the second consecutive season, LCU had canceled their game against North Georgia.

Game 1b – Lubbock Christian 3, Nova Southastern 1 (8inn.)
