If you were around in the Golden Age of the 1980s, you may remember popular hardcore punk groups like Black Flag or The Misfits. These days may have been a long time ago, but a decisive wave of music bands Boise is bringing back these classic sounds. One of the most promising new groups on the stage is wasted, including six members. Sextet, who launches the group as students together at Boise High School, self -exports EP, plays places and sells goods throughout the city.
“It is true that punk music is less than mainstream today,” admits guitarist Grame Russell, “hardcore [punk] He has never been so popular because he comes from the past that he has stepped up. “
The lost will represent the Boise of the famous Northwest Hardcore Fest in Portland, Oregon, in August, and will win the battle of the Boise High School group in 2024. The band hopes that this genre of music makes a bigger return.
“I think there is a resumption and people find out how cool it is and exactly what it sounds again,” said bassist Marcus Zunic.
