Dallas (AP) -Ciri Irving scored 35 points, PJ Washington Jr. There were 20 of his 24 points in the first half, and Dallas Mavericks defeated New Orleans 111-103 on Friday night for his third direct victory.
Irving struck 11 out of 22 shots from the floor, hitting 5 out of 12 3, and all eight of his free throws.
Washington, 6 feet-7 power, returned to Dallas, whose three centers are out of injuries after he missed the last three matches before the All-Star break with an ankle spiller.
Zion Williamson scored 29 points for New Orleans, and Trey Murphy III had 20. The Pelicans lost 11 of their last 12.
