Dallas Maverix have been in many titles in NBA Media for late and not for the best reasons. As the team decided to trade the star guard Luka Doncic, Dallas received all kinds of public criticism.
Mavericks fans did not take Doncic’s trade well by conducting protests and symbolic funerals from the announcement of the deal.

Mavericks General Nico Harrison and the property have not helped anything, with their comments only nourishing the anger of the fanbase even more. It was a wild trade and did not help that Doncic was sent to the opponent in Los Angeles Lakers.

Although a few weeks have passed since the deal, the tension is still very high. Mavericks star keeper Kiri Irving recently weighed all public criticism involving trade and called on things to be reduced.
“Part of our work every day to deal with the public space, but there were real relationships that were built behind the scenes that would go beyond only the basketball court, coaching and then upper management,” Irving told ESPN. “I know that for our own peace, just because we not only had two years together, but we have a chance to know each other as men.”
“We hope that we can adapt to some of the aspects of public criticism and really simply maintain the kindness and compassion we have to each other who is real every day, not just a moment or sound bite that eventually is described as something that can be removed from context. “
Irving was at the center of the fact that he was still in the Maveri, so he saw the damage caused by trade. But at the end of the day, the deal is concluded and Doncic is no longer with the Mavericks franchise.

It will probably take some time to deal with Dallas fans, given that Doncic has been central to the team for years. In addition, things are not easier for them, as Mavericks will face Doncic and Lakers early next week.
There will probably be more talk and feelings when the two sides connect again for the first time. But what is done is done and it seems that Irving just wants to move from all this.
