Part of Olaate City Hall will soon be closed for the foreseeable future, as the renovation of the building continues.
According to the city, the repair works will close part of the mayoralty between March 17 and May 16. This includes the chambers of the Municipal Council on the first floor, where public governing bodies and councils are usually encountered.
During this time, the Olaate Municipal Council and the Olaate Planning Commission will meet at the Flex theater in the center of the Olaate Public Library, 260 E. Santa Fe St.
What happens in the mayoralty?
- Work on the renovation of the Olaate City Hall began at the end of last year and is expected to continue until this summer.
- It includes interior improvements, as well as upgrades to the aged building HVAC system and a new roof.

Some urban services are moving at work
