Keran Jew: The Lanchester Tree Tree – Confeste Magazine

George Ledger – CONCEST IN FOCUS

In the world of Arborculture, Kiran Jew stands out as a true whisper of a tree. Unlike foresters, which control huge forests, Kieran specializes in careful care for individual trees, shrubs and vines, focusing on their health and aesthetics with a level of attention, which can be described as VIP plants treatment.

Kyran’s journey into the Arbor -Culture world begins at Houghhall College in Durham, where he laid the foundation of his future career. He then refined his skills by apprenticeships with a local surgical company for trees, gradually improving his craft over the years. This extensive experience ultimately made him set up his own company in Lanchester, although he still collaborated with other companies for bigger projects or reinforcement calls when he encounters particularly challenging tasks.

During a recent meeting, Kiyran was observed to deal with a group of rising Scottish pines that became uncertain after a severe storm. A tree had already fallen, causing damage to the fence and flooring, but miraculously avoiding a nearby house. With another storm on the horizon and the rest of the trees swayed ominously, Kieran found himself in a race against the time to take them safely.

For those who could accept that killing a tree is a clear task, watching Kieran at work was a humble experience. He landed 100 feet in the air, he skillfully dismantled the swinging giant, without causing so much scratching of the surrounding garden or house. His expertise clearly demonstrates that he has much more work than just owning a cutter and shouting “timber!”

Kieran’s work serves as a testament to the complexity and skills associated with the arborecura. His ability to safely manage such challenging situations, combined with his deep understanding of trees, really distinguishes him in his area. Whether it nourishes a young sapling or dealing with a potentially dangerous situation such as Scottish pines, Kiran Jew continues to demonstrate why he is considered one of Lanchester’s best arbors.
