Kenzo finds his groove in a playful, nostalgic turn in Paris Fashion Week – Wkmg News 6 & Clickorlando

Paris – Kenzo brought an electrifying week to Paris Week with a collection that mixed nostalgia, cultural exchange and sharp tailoring under the direction of Nigo.

With Graffiti Artist Futura as an associate, the collection offered a new perception of the brand’s aesthetic motifs with archival motifs with Urban Edge. The creative partnership channeled for decades of shared influences, layering Kenzo’s heritage with the raw energy of street culture from the 90s.

Bold models and thoughtful workmanship determine the track. Futura’s iconic atomic logo seemed to be rethought with Kenzo’s floras of bombers, wide leg pants and adapted jackets.

Accessories inspired by casual items such as shopping bags and bouquets, played with Japanese calligraphy and nostalgic cultural labels, adding tactile depth to the collection. These pieces reflect the era of intercultural exchange between Tokyo and New York, a key topic throughout the show.

The collection, revealed on Friday, also showed archival references with a modern twist. Train motives, nodding to Kenzo’s design in the late 1990s, appear on suits and outerwear, while refined Paisleys are integrated into modern work clothes.

The ventilated denim and six-buto jackets brought a touch of the sophistication of nostalgic energy, combining vintage charm with precision sewing. The shoes of the collection-the cumbersome moccasins and the reviewed Mary Janes-have come up with a playful contrast, grounding designs in an affordable but avant-garde aesthetic.

The atmosphere at the restaurant sounded the creative energy of display, as remarkable guests from fashion and music worlds contribute to the hum.
