Baton Rouge – During the LOVE the Boot Week on April 5 to April 13, two government programs will partner to help to embellish the state and clean the problem areas.
Keep Louisiana a beautiful, state program under the office of the Governor’s governor, and the Ministry of Transport and Development will partner to expand the Love The Boot Week so that it can include more volunteer events covered in more areas.
This year, 21 DOTD offices will serve as places for recycling to protect the recyclables from the depots and waterways of the state.
“We thank DOTD for their efforts to support more pure Louisiana during the love of Boot the Boot throughout the year,” said Lieutenant governor Billy Nungser. “I encourage you to love Boot Event organizers to drop out of recycling from cleaning your waste. Let’s work together to keep bottles and boxes outside the depot. “
