KDOT to host a public meeting for I-70 Polk-Quincy Viaduct Project-Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW)-Kansas Transport Ministry (KDOT) will host a public meeting for the Viaduct I-70 Polk-Quincy project this week.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 27, from 5pm to 7pm, the Cyrus K. Holliday building, Located on 620 SE Madison Street in Topeka.

A brief welcome and introduction will be made at 5:00 pm and repeated at 6:00 pm, attendees can come and go at any time during the project review and construction information and talk one with one with the staff of The project.

The I-70 POLK-QUINCY VIADUCT project extends from approximately Macvicar Avenue to 6th Avenue. The project will increase safety and mobility by expanding the I-70, replacing the existing viaduct, reconfigures the I-70/Topeka branch and make other improvements to the local street network.

The construction is now underway and is expected to be completed at the end of 2027, with the conditions allowing.

The materials shared at the meeting will be available online from Friday, February 28th.
