“When you look good, you feel good” is designer Eli Tahari’s motto – and it has Kamala Harris’ approval.
The vice president opted for a designer Tahari ALS one-button crepe blazer in cobalt blue for her appearance in Reno, Nev., on Thursday, where she held a campaign rally supported by Jennifer Lopez, Mana and more guests as she continues her When We Vote, We Win “.

Harris has embraced smart workwear for her campaigns, favoring jeans, shirts, blazers and small shoes. It’s a versatile enough day-to-night look, and it served its purpose on Thursday. Earlier in the afternoon in Phoenix, she met with members of the Norteno group Los Tigres del Norte while at another rally.
Harris accessorized for the day with her signature pearls, wearing a two-strand necklace with gold links and studded earrings. As she exited her plane, her cleavage was wrapped in a Hermes scarf. From the Kawa Ora collection, the cashmere-silk scarf was decorated with a Maori tattoo print by artist Te Rangitu Netana, inspired by the connection with nature.
The star-studded night comes after performers including Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Willie Nelson and Jessica Alba voiced their support for Harris on Oct. 26 in Houston at a Reproductive Rights rally. The Tahari ALS brand has a fan in Alba as well. There, the actress wore the brand’s peak lapel blazer, which featured a belt instead of buttons and an asymmetrical design.
Lopez, who will make her endorsement later Thursday, recently had to appear after racist remarks made by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe at a Trump rally at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, where Hinchcliffe described Puerto Rico as a “floating island from garbage.”
It sparked a backlash, with Lopez, who is of Puerto Rican descent, among the leading voices. She took to social media and shared a clip of Harris outlining her support for Puerto Rico, adding a Puerto Rican flag and voting emoji.
Kenneth Cole also showed his support for Puerto Rico by releasing an “I Heart Puerto Rico” T-shirt on Thursday, with $10 from each purchase being donated to the Puerto Rico Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the island’s economic development.
Harris is holding his final rally on Monday before Election Day on Nov. 5.
