LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Kamala Harris wrapped up a rally in Reno, Nevada, and spoke in Las Vegas on Thursday night.
Crowds gathered at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas.
They expect the vice president to speak tonight just days before the general election.
The Democratic presidential nominee is tonight making a whirlwind tour of western battleground states trying to win the support of Latino voters.
Actor and dancer JLO took the stage at around 9pm and said Harris was running for the people who dream.
Vice President Harris spoke after the JLO and discussed key points ahead of Election Day.
She began her speech by telling Nevadans, “We need you to vote for Nevada,” and said that hard work is good work and joyful work.
Health care was an important topic. Harris says health care is a right, not a privilege for those who can afford it.
Reproductive freedom is an important issue across the country.
Harris told the crowd that protecting reproductive freedom is important and your voice is your voice and your voice is your power.
During her speech, she told Generation Z that she applauds first-time voters and that you shape the world you inherit.
After her speech, she was greeted offstage by Sencod Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
Former President Donald Trump is also running for those states. He just finished a rally in Las Vegas and is heading to Phoenix.
Mexican rock band Maná also features.
