Washington Policy Reporter Mail Cristiano Lima-Stong was hired by Tech Policy Press as an associated editor.

He writes a newsletter of the publication focused on technological policy in Washington and how this affects the major stakeholders across the country.

Lima-Strong worked favorably at Politico, where he covered technological policy and policy focusing on the debate in congress around antitrust, data confidentiality, moderation of content and emerging technologies. He is the former author of Morning Tech, a Politico Technology Policy Bulletin and has served as an associate of other tips, including Morning Media and California Playbook.

Before covering Tech, Lima Strong serves as a news reporter and a senior web producer of Politico, covering daily political news, managing social media and preparing stories for the network.

Its previous stops include an English Al Jazeera freelancer and a NPR-Affiliate WHY interval. Lima-Strong won a master’s and bachelor’s degree in political science at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.
