John William Steling, III, 90 -year -old from Wilmington, died on Friday, February 7, 2024, at the Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

He was born on February 3, 1935 in Wilson, North Carolina, to the late John and Hilda Stallings.

John survived his daughters, Anna Stolings, Jenny Peterson and his husband Jim; his brother, Kit Stolings and his wife, Barbara; His grandchildren Jessica Buskirk and her husband Seth, Andrew Hurd and his wife Cadi; His great -grandchildren, Sarah, Zoe, Peter, Andrew -Jr. and Margo

In addition to his parents, John was preceded by the death of his sister Gard Parsons.
