Wilmington-John Jack Norman Broadbridge, a hidden husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died quietly from natural causes on Sunday on January 26, 2025 in Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on May 5, 1939 in Danbury, Connecticut, Jack lived full and rewarding, reaching the age of 85.

Jack begins his professional trip as a manufacturer of printed boards at Teknicircuits, Inc., in his hometown of Danbury, Connecticut. Later, his entrepreneurial spirit made him become the owner of Country Club Belvedere in Hampstead, North Carolina, where his passion for golf flowering. Known for his love for sports, Jack spends many joyful hours playing golf and creating personalized golf clubs, sharing his enthusiasm with friends and family.

A former Cape Fear Country Club member, Jack was well appreciated in his community because of his warm behavior and dedication to his activities. Although he did not seek confessions, his life is a testament to hard work, commitment and simple pleasures found in his interests and relationships.

Jack was preceded by death by his beloved son Jeff Broadbridge and his parents. He leaves behind the inheritance of love shared with his wife of 64, Sandi Becker Broadbridge. He also survived his daughter Janet Broadbridge Roac, his son was Broadbridge and his covenant grandchildren: David and Matthew Roac; John, Pat and Ali Broadbridge; Peter and Lydia Broadbridge. Jack’s joy was further enriched by his great -grandmother, Lucy Broadbridge.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Wilmington funeral chapel from 11:00 to 12:30. During this time, those who knew and loved Jack are invited to gather, think and celebrate his life And the many kind memories he leaves behind.

The family would want to make a memorial contribution to charity of your choice instead of flowers.

Jack’s presence will be expensive, but his memory will live in the hearts of those who were lucky to know him.
