His family and friends are deeply affected by his sudden departure, and he leaves behind cherished memories of kindness and resilience, facing and overcoming challenges with the support of those close to him.
To help arrange the funeral, his aunt Eileen Manuel Dufek organized a fundraising campaign, who shared her heartfelt words expressing the deep loss she is feeling and asking for help at this difficult time. “There is a big empty space in my heart now. I helped raise him and he was like another son to me. Rest in love and peace my dear John,” she posted, honoring John’s memory.
