Jimmy Hale’s mission awarded a $ 140,000 grant to deal with Birmingham Health Difference – Alabama News Leader

Birmingham, but. (WBMA) – Jimmie Hale’s mission has announced that she has received a $ 140,000 grant from the Direct Relief Fund for Health Capital.

The organization said that funding will help to continue its work on dealing with the main reasons for differences in healthcare and improving the results for vulnerable members of the Community.

A grant is expected to expand services that focus on social health determinants such as economic stability, mental health and access to care.

“This funding allows us to expand our services and provide our customers to stand up by helping them to overcome health lawlessness that prevented them from reaching their full potential,” said mission executive Jimmy Hale Perrin Carroll.
