Jeremy Irvine has lined up an exciting new role!
The 34-year-old actor will star in the new British comedy The light is fantasticin which he will play a gay firefighter who pursues a career as a professional ballroom dancer.
The project is based on a true story and also features stars like Leighton Williams, Rupert Everett and Nathan Stewart-Jarrett.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the film “follows Jason (Irvine), a gay firefighter in his mid-30s who aspires to become a professional ballroom dancer. Set in Blackpool, the story chronicles his journey of self-discovery as he challenges ballroom traditions under the watchful eye of his traditional instructor Reynolds (Everett).’
The Light Fantastic will be directed by Chris Cottam and features choreography by Mark and Shirley Ballasmother-son duo from Dancing with the stars and Strictly come to dance.
