Jean Reno to participate in Tom Edmunds ‘Butler’ – Cinematolik

Tom Edmunds found the lead for his sophomore! Jean Reno will star in the forthcoming film director “The Butler”. The project will start starring in Ireland in the beginning of the summer of 2025. Edmonds and Craig McUines wrote the script.

The plot follows Felix, an unwavering housekeeper of a 17th-century mansion in his 1960s. When the lord of the mansion died, his will makes sure that the main character would remain in the property if and when the property was sold. Soon Clave, a gentleman of his 50s, and his 12-year-old high-minded daughter, Harriet, arrive at the mansion as new owners.

As the story progresses, two Mafiots of Atlantic City are arriving in the property, threatening their money. While Clive intends to run, Felix stands on his ground and is ready to fight. Despite his new employer, he is a former British Special Forces soldier who serves in World War I and is ready to defend the mansion and his new inhabitants at all costs. In this way, Felix, Clave and Harriet are grouped together, and with the military expertise of the latter and the arsenal of tricks they have, they use everything from pistols for duels to mice, intersections and cheese knives to stand up against criminals.

Renault is a well -known French Spanish actor, widely known for his performance as the hit man Leon in the action thriller of Luke Besson Leon: The Professional. He also plays the French secret service agent Philip Rowse in Godzilla by Roland Emerich, the first Hollywood show of the iconic Kaiju franchise. Other remarkable loans of Renault include Vincent in John Frankenheimer’s crime thriller with Robert de Niro, Enzo Molinari in Beson Flick’s sports adventure “Big Blue” and Right about Spike Lee’s military drama “Yes 5 Blood.” As for his television loans, he played Hector in Prime Video and Reinaldo Gómez de la Cortina in “Who Killed Sarah?” We last saw him as Gilbert Vasier in French Fantasy Adventure French Fanture “Family package”.

Tom Edmunds made his directorial debut with Comedy-dramatic film “Dead in a week or your money back.” The movie focuses on a young man named William (Aneurin Barnard), who assigns his suicide to an aging killer named Leslie (Tom Wilkinson). Edmonds also directed a handful of short films, including “The Narrows”, a Western shortfall for a young woman who joins a crew delivering a cargo to a man who killed his father, and the comedy of the crime short “2 birds and a wrench”. Who focuses on two amateurs who hit men who deal with their first job.
