CancerCare, Inc. and Massimo Bonini move to Resnick’s Plaza District Tower; Zuckerman Spaeder extends lease and moves to 19th Floor
Jack Resnick & Sons today announced three leases totaling more than 33,000 square feet at 485 Madison Avenue, its prestigious Midtown Manhattan tower.
Cancercare has signed a 16-year lease to occupy all 14,101 square feet 10th floor of the 25-story tower. Founded in 1994, Cancercare is a leading national organization providing free professional support and information services to help people cope with the emotional, practical and financial challenges of cancer diagnoses. Cancercare will move from its current offices at 275 Seventh Avenue in the second quarter of 2025.
In a second move, Massimo Bonini has signed a lease for 9,128 square feet in the 24th floor as well as 25th floor maisonette which includes access to private outdoor terraces. The developer and wholesaler of fashion accessories will relocate from 720 Fifth Avenue in the first quarter of 2025.
Resnick also completed an eight-year lease extension with Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, which has been a tenant at 485 Madison since 2017. Zuckerman Spaeder now occupies 10,320 square feet throughout the 19th tower floor. Jack Resnick & Sons provided Zuckerman Spaeder with state-of-the-art turnkey equipment for its new offices, which allowed Zuckerman Spaeder to use its space much more efficiently. Reznik quickly managed to rehire the firm’s former 10th area of Cancercare.

Built in 1929 for the CBS Radio Network, Jack Resnick & Sons acquired the JER Carpenter-designed 485 Madison in 1976. The 305,675-square-foot landmark features a double-height limestone lobby with soaring, wraparound mahogany wood panels. 485 Madison received Gold certification under the US Green Building Council’s LEED rating system, as well as WiredScore Gold and EnergyStar certifications.
Located on the corner of 52n.d Street, the property is in close proximity to Grand Central Terminal and multiple subway lines, as well as Central Park, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and numerous shops, restaurants and museums in the Plaza District.
