“It was directed”: Neighbors on the edge after numerous fires in an apartment complex – KGNS

Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – residents of a local apartment complex feel restless after multiple fires erupted in just a few days.

• First incident: On Saturday, a neighbor said he heard a strong blow and then saw a car under a fire outside the complex.
• A second incident: The next day the same car was set on fire again.
• Third incident: In the early morning of Tuesday, February 4, the door to the first floor apartment caught fire.

These repeated fires have led some neighbors to believe that they were deliberately tuned, which raised safety concerns for the whole community.

A resident who wished to remain anonymous expressed his fears, saying, “It was – I guess – I want to say that he was directed at that particular person. And as I said, there are other people there. These are not just them. Who does this puts other people’s lives at risk. “
