Sandy, Utah (Kutv) – A woman in Sandy has been reported to have tested seven times a limit of alcohol content in Utah with her children in the car.
Sandy police said a woman who had not been identified had crashed into a mailbox and escaped from the scene while her three children were in the car.
Police were able to find a woman in her home, where she did a preliminary respiratory test that shows 0.364 BAC, more than seven times a Utah 0.05 limit.
The woman has been arrested for DUI, strikes and escapes other unspecified accusations, police said.
No update was provided for the well -being of her children. The police describe them as “young children”.
