“Just knowing that if we clean the little things for five to eight minutes of the game, I think we have both games,” Brown said. “It’s good to know this, but it’s also really disappointing because it’s like, Dang, we were so close to doing it on our way.”

“In February, the scouts reports, everyone at this point in the game knows everything you run, they know the trends of everyone, so you need your players roles to activate and hit photos,” said TCU coach Mark Campbell.

With the loss, the next tournament of the NCAA tournament resumed the possibility of construction, they have slipped away. ISU exhausts its capabilities for its first victory with a quadrant one. Cyclones are already 0-7 in these games, the strongest criteria for NCAA tournaments.

The ISU coach Bill Funelli said he wasn’t worried about which quadrant an opponent was. It is more in its essence to worry about the next 40 minutes of basketball that his team should play.

“I think when we entered these games, we knew we were playing two really good teams,” Funelli said. “This turned out to be true. It also turned out to be true that we were right there with the two, so we hope that our players understand it well, this is not a complete discrepancy … But these are on top and we are not.”

Cyclones have entered the game as one of the last four teams in the Bracetology Projection field of ESPN. This week, losses from No. 11 Kansas State and No. 9 TCU make this an even more disadvantaged position.

“It was just not our week to be honest,” Crowks said. “But we can’t have much more of these sliding. We can’t have much more losses.”
