Insider: Cardinals ‘Hope’ to sign again Trey Mcbrid – Sports Illustrated

The Cardinals in Arizona and the narrow end of Trey McBride are intended to negotiate a contract in this non -season after the third year player became admissible for extension at the end of the regular season 2024.

McBride – who has established himself as one of the best narrow ends in football – potentially examines a mass extension of the contract, which can reset the players market in his position.

The interior of ESPN NFL Jeremy Fowler says there is hope that the Cardinals will make a deal to keep one of their best players in a long time.

“Cardinals are hoping to sign the Star Tight End Trey McBride again in this extra -season. The TE market has remained in this range from $ 15 to $ 17 million a year, but perhaps Mcbrid can change this with 192 catch from 2023.”

McBride gathered 111 receptions for 1.146 yards and four common sensors in 2024, winning his first appearance on Pro Bowl.

Under the Treaty in the 2025 season, the cardinals hope they can keep McBride away from the agency’s free cycle for next year.

What this final number looks like, it remains to be seen, and although it feels that everyone in the Arizona facility knows that McBride is ready to win a huge day of pay, the Cardinals will surely try to hold their own reason in the negotiations.

McBride – recently spoke in Radio Row before Super Bowl – says he wants to stay in Arizona.

“I totally want to be a cardinal,” McBride said.

“I love being in Arizona and I want to win here. That’s exactly what I want to do and I’m just excited to see what this next step is.”
