Tallahasee, Florida (WCTV) – A Talahasi man celebrates an important anniversary at the Talahasi Memorial Hospital with not one cake, but two.
Gary Hansen and his wife Lauren came on Friday gifts for doctors and nurses who saved his life. He brings the cake every year for eight years on the anniversary of his first blow.
But now Hansen wears two cakes for TMH’s staff after he ended up in the hospital when he suffered a second blow last year.
“I tell people that you can know someone who is as happy that he is alive as I do, but you do not know anyone who is more happier than I am alive. I’m just grateful, ”Hansen said.
It is called beyond thankfully and “beyond blessed”. Hansen visited his old hospital room. And the nurse who took care of him, Caston Shields, was honored to cut the cakes.
