“I moved to the United States when I was 15,” Cabrera told 7news Lianna Golden outside her apartment complex Arlington.
Cabrera said she was approved for DACA in 2014, which is something that changed his life.
“I was approved in 2014, so 11 years. It changed my life,” Cabrera said. “I was able to buy a car, get a driver’s license and start a company. Just a little.”
Cabrera is a landscaper and proud of its work and journey.
“I want to say that the bigger part of my life is here. I see it as my community. It’s a home for me,” Cabrera said.
He fears that he will not be a long home, as President Trump has threatened to end DACA and has already strengthened the implementation of immigration across the country.
