Currently, the city of Haialea is the second least diverse city in the United States, ahead of Parkersberg only in West Virginia.
A recent Wallethub survey ranked Hialeah at the number 499 of 500 analyzed cities. To obtain the results, the study analyzes aspects such as racial diversity, linguistic diversity and diversity of native places.
96.05% of Hialeah residents are Spanish or Latinos (mainly Cubans), 93% of residents speak Spanish as a first language and 74% were born abroad (mostly in Cuba).
Hialeah has the highest concentration of Spaniards or Latinos across the country, according to the study.
