Hyaliah teacher deported to Honduras tells his story – NBC Miami

On February 6, Valner Sauseda was deported to his native Honduras.

His story first emerged the same day he was deported.

This Thursday, at a press conference, the management of teachers in Miami-Dad tried to extinguish fears, assuring that the public did not carry out immigration attacks and customs implementation.

At that moment, it was very known about Sauseda, who was deported as a science teacher at Palm Springs high school.

“It’s tragic in so many ways,” says Louise Santos, a member of the Miami-Dad School Board. “I myself was an untamed student and knowing the fear that one might feel to think about going home and a family member is not there, it’s tragic.”

But as the story first broke, we have learned a significant amount of information about the teacher who grew up in Hyallea and recently graduated FIU with chemistry degree.

The 24 -year -old Sauseda agreed to an interview with NBC6 after reading the reports of the press deportment. He said public comments in history persuade him to speak, as many suggest that his criminal origin was the reason for being deported.

In our exclusive interview, he told the NBC6 that he had a purely criminal record. NBC6 checked and his allegations are accurate.

“It was emotionally difficult for me,” Sauseda told NBC6 policy reporter Hotel Vela, who travels to Honduras to talk to Sauseda.

In a series of four parts, beginning on Thursday, March 20, from 5pm and 6pm, Sauseda describes his deportation in detail, why he initially escaped from his country and what he was able to achieve while living here in the United States.
