Hyaliah man accused of abuse of an 87-year-old mother-WPLG Local 10

Hialeah, FLA. -The politics arrested a 54-year-old Hyalea man with four crimes on Thursday after accusing him of abuse of his octogenic mother.

Investigators from the Hyallea Police Department have documented two cases of abuse in an arrest report, which they have said they have been precipitated by the 87-year-old, refusing to give his son Eduardo Gonzalez-Estafani, money.

The report states that on New Year’s Day, Gonzalez-Estaphani struck his mother in the head “several times” while having breakfast.

“The victim said to (Gonzalez-Estafani) that he would not argue with him, stand up and start collecting his breakfast so that he could eat in his bedroom,” the report said. “(Her son) then undertook the victim’s quadruple base, put her in the (her) throat and said,” Where are you going? “

Police said Gonzalez-Estafani took his mother’s cane, but she herself managed to reach her bedroom, where she locked the door and stayed until the next day.

She did not call the police “due to previous incidents” involving her son, the report said. She told investigators that Gonzalez-Estafani “took her phone and broke it” in the past and said that calling the police “has caused her too many problems and (she) is afraid (her son) will do it again” S

Police announced the next day as she was driving her to a clinic, Gonzalez-Estafani again abused her mother after she told him she couldn’t give her money.

They said that he “Backhand had hit her head, breaking her glasses,” he hit her head and face several more times and grabbed her hair, pulling her head and shake her head.

Authorities said she had asked for a clinic to call the police, but employees had never arrived. The report states that she has returned to the bus to the clinic and locked herself in her room again.

Gonzalez-Estafani went to the HPD headquarters to make a statement, but eventually asked a lawyer, police said, telling the detectives “He was arrested before and did not want to make things worse.”

Miami-Dad court records show that Gonzalez-Estafani was indeed arrested before, including by the Hyalea police in June 2020 on charges, including a battery of a person over 65 years old.

The court records also show a case in December 2012 in an aggravated battery. In any case, prosecutors eventually refused.

On Thursday, police raised him in custody on a charged battery per person 65 years or older, two battery per person 65 years or older, abuse of adults or disabled disabilities and criminal offenders.

In court on Friday, Miami-Dadd Judge Victoria Sigler did not find a probable reason for the most serious accusation-a combined battery-after Gonzalez-Estafani’s lawyer claims that the alleged actions do not increase to the level needed for his accusation. Prosecutor agreed.

Sigler, however, found a probable cause for other censuses by ordering Gonzalez-Astafani to be held on a $ 12,650 bond.

It was imprisoned at the Turner Guilford Knight correction center of early Friday afternoon.
