Hyali Police: Undercover Officers saw 2 girls in the Met’s Motel Room with Met, Heroin and other drugs – WPLG Local 10

Hialeah, FLA. – Detectives accused the family of selling drugs to two girls who were regularly around men with criminal files at Hialeah Motel.

Jessica Neves, their mother and relatives are staying in two separate rooms at The Star Motel, 1651 West Okeechobee Road, according to police.

The case involves an investigation with undercover officers who bought a crystal meth of them in the motel room on February 20, March 7 and on Monday, while the girls were present, according to police.

On Thursday afternoon, detectives returned to the motel with an order and announced that they were rescuing a 4-year-old girl and finding more crystal meth, heroin, marijuana and pills, according to a police report.

Noves, 39; Her boyfriend Roy Duran; Her father William Neves and the girls, 4 and 10, remained in the same room, according to a police report.

Girls’ grandmother Melinda Neves, who is still married to their grandfather, stayed in another room in the same motel with her boyfriend Jose Cortez, according to the report.

A 4-year-old told a police officer that 38-year-old Duran feeds her and her sister, and he, their grandparents and 53-year-old Cortez, watch them when their mother does not, according to a police report.

The records show that Duran was a crime for possession of a controlled substance, and Cortez, convicted as a criminal known as King Cachi, who has been in and out of prison since 1999, was last released from prison in 2022.

Police officers have announced that she is taking the 10-year-old sister of the Hyali primary school girl and takes her to the police station, where the five suspects questioned and arrested.

Police officers took the five to the correction center for Turner Gilford. Nieves, Duran and Cortez have encountered two neglect of children without major bodily harm.

Cortez also faced charges of possessing a firearm, weapon or ammunition by a convicted criminal; and two drugs for drug possession with the intention of using it.

William Nives also encountered charges of trafficking in fentanyl and three possession of a controlled substance with the intention of selling.

Jessica Nives also encountered three possessions of a controlled substance with the intention of selling hero, possesses heroin with the intention of selling and possessing marijuana with the intention of selling herself.
