This format is recommended for students 14 and older. This online workday format consists of two parts: an online class that can be taken at the student’s own pace, followed by a 5-hour workday. The online portion of this course costs $34.95 through the online course provider. You MUST print, sign, and bring proof of completion of the online course with you to the field day. Additional information This home study format consists of two parts: an online class followed by a 4-hour day course. All students must complete the online portion prior to the scheduled Field Day course and bring the online certificate of completion printed and signed to attend the Field Day training to be certified. The Field Day course aims to ensure that students can demonstrate skills in the proper handling of a firearm in a safe and respectful manner. Participants who complete and pass the one-day training will be certified the same day with a temporary hunter safety training certificate. A permanent certificate will be emailed to the email address used at registration in approximately 2 weeks. You must attend the entire course. The course will include a 50 question T/F test and a live session. Students are NOT to carry firearms on the course. All firearms and other materials will be provided. More information
