Hundreds of violent, optimistic protesters covered the block in front of Nevad Capitol in Carson City on Wednesday to protest against President Donald Trump’s actions and his administration.

Many wore domestic signs as cars passed, which went to support. The participants exploded in chants like “We will not go back”, “No ice of the attacks” and “No Trump, no KKK, without the fascist US.”

The event was part of the 50501 national rally, distributed through social media sites Reddit and Bluesky. The group name refers to 50 protests in 50 state capitals in one day.

Protesters gave a wide range of reasons for gathering: what they see as attacks against democracy, restrictive restrictions, reducing the financing of public services and targeted marginalized groups.

“This has come together quite organically,” said Kelly Clark, secretary of Carson City Democrats, holding a hand -attracted resistance sign.

“Democracy is not like that”

Nevada’s ‘50501’ protest size
