Hundreds of protest in the Capitol of Wisconsin against Trump, Project 2025 – WMTV

Madison, wis. (WMTV) – hundreds of protesting against the Trump administration and the 2025 Conservative Policy Project in Capitol of Wisconsin on Wednesday. The protest was part of a national protest day called the 50501 movement, organizing 50 protests in 50 states in one day.

“I am here as a revolutionary who wants to see a fundamental change in the United States,” Lilith Kievskaya, a member of the John Brown Weapons Club, told protest. She was holding a long pistol decorated with a Trans Pride flag sticker, and had another gun nailed to her vest.

The protesters were largely calm, giving speeches, drums and cheerful at temperatures for more than five hours. They have identified President Trump’s executive orders, the influence of Elon Musk, and any attack against trans rights.

“I really would like to not go down to a totalitarian dictatorship,” said Julie Mankovski, one of the organizers of the protest. “At this point, the realistic actions are every chosen employee in this country, must open his mouth for the fact that this is not right. “

The protest brought out both the young and the old of the Capitol.

“I’ve not been protesting for years,” said Bryce Luchtertert.

He said he was protesting against the influence and access of Elon Musk.

“He’s not chosen for anything,” Luchteterhand said. “This is a transvestite for the American people.”

The protest comes the same day as Wisconsin’s democratic congressman Mark invited the Elon Musk Act to Congress. Musk has significant federal contracts through its companies, including SpaceX and Starlink. The law will prohibit civil servants such as Musk from having federal contracts.
