LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball will open the regular season Monday at home against Howard.
The No. 1 Jayhawks split a pair of preseason exhibition games heading into this game. Led by head coach Bill Self, they have the potential to win both the Big 12 Conference and national success this season. Fans had the chance to enjoy Late Night in the Phog and an exhibition game against Washburn in October, but this will be the first regular season game for Self and company in the newly renovated Allen Fieldhouse.
