How big should Raiders take in the draft? – Sports Illustrated

Raiders in Las Vegas are preparing for the NFL 2025 project.

The new general manager John Spytek joins an organization that has 10 selections in the draft. He has a good eye for talent, building an impressive core with Buccaneers Tampa Bay.

It is mandatory to find a fundamental talent for a Raiders team that has little. Brock Bowers needs a franchise defender to throw his ball, a running game and more perimeter options around him.

Raiders have No. 6 General Selection in the draft. The road to the franchise defender looks narrow because of who is on top and where the attackers sit.

Rumors are spinning that Tennessee Titans, who have a complete selection # 1, are in love with Miami the star Camd. This only leaves Fill Sanders in Colorado with a team of discounts to Raiders.

How big should Raiders take this class? Whether have Let’s take one?

If Raiders want to trade for Sanders, they will probably have to do it with Cleveland Browns to skip New York giants to # 3.

The brownies could move down and still land a great player like Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter, so they could be lured by this idea.

If Raiders turn to their situation at a free agency, they will not have to stress for it in the draft. This would allow them to focus their attention elsewhere.

But what if the attackers make a big swing like when running back?

Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty is the best back in the class. Will Raiders shock the NFL world by taking him to number 6?

Eric Edholm from NFL.com made fun of Jeanty for silver and black in a recent layout.

To this choice Edholm wrote:

“Pete Carol is blowing up the draft! Why not? When everyone else has problems with Jeanty Dower’s branching, I’ll give it to the coach he had to play for. “

Although it would be an unprecedented idea, it can make sense if Spytek believes that Jeanty is the best player on the board, regardless of positional value. Raiders need a dynamic running back to ignite their game.

Raiders can also Titairoa McMila in Arizona Or Texas Matthew Golden.

Raiders need talent on both sides of the ball, no matter how they acquire it. The next few months will tell us how big the team will take in April.
