Chesapeake’s hospice has added high -flow oxygen therapy to its stationary care centers, improving the quality of care for patients with complex respiratory needs.
High -flow oxygen therapy is designed to provide precise oxygen levels, improving breathing efficiency and overall patient comfort. This therapy is especially useful for people who experience respiratory distress, which allows for better management of symptoms and improved quality of life.

The integration of high -flow oxygen therapy will be accessible immediately to the hospice of the Central Care Center in Forts in Pasadena and the Charles Stationary Service Center in Waldorf. This will be a suitable option for hospital patients discharged when patients still need non -invasive oxygen maintenance while maintaining comfort and ease of use compared to other methods. This new service is part of the organization’s constant efforts to include the most medical progress and best practices in the hospice.
