Jackson served during the Vietnam War and worked as a Social Security worker for nearly 30 years. Jackson enjoys sharing his love of woodworking with his nine grandchildren, as well as spending time outdoors.

Organizers said recent health challenges have made it difficult for Jackson to tackle all the household projects he used to enjoy, and now he needs help restoring the property he takes pride in maintaining.

Volunteers renovated Jackson’s home through fence repairs, house painting and landscaping projects. Jackson was also surprised with a new grill, fishing tackle and dishes to allow him to continue his lifelong passion.
