Prince George’s Stadium in Bowie, Maryland, will have undergone significant repairs as part of a $ 50 million improvement plan aimed at improving the experience of fans and dealing with league development requirements in the main league (PDL) (PDL) ). Attain Sports acquired the team, previously known as Bowie Baysox, in 2021 and holds a stadium rental contract until 2032, with extension options in 2042. The organization works with M-NCPPC and MSA to provide Approval for upgrades. The Design-Build team, led by Gilbane with Ewingcole as a design partner, has been selected to implement the project, with the Canopy team helping in the design process.
The renewal process will continue in early 2025, with construction expected to start in March 2025 and will extend until 2026. Employees have assured fans that the Chesapeake Bayx player season will not be interrupted during the construction period.
