Hokies dominate Virginia with a historical performance of evaluation – WCYB

The early Trisus Baker triphone showed a tone to Virginia Tech Hokies as they provided 87-62 victory over the opponent Virginia on Sunday afternoon. Baker’s troika in the 6-minute brand for the first quarter gave Hoki a lead that they maintained throughout the game.

87 Hokies points scored the highest result they have ever achieved in the Virginia series, and their 26 assists set a record for an ACC race program. Baker’s performance was particularly noticeable, as it went 5-5 beyond the arc, tying the program record for most consecutive three-dedicated triplets, a record previously set by Kayla King on November 7, 2022.

Baker, who has now scored in double figures in six consecutive games, tied to the team with a height of 17 points together with Matilda Ekh. Carly Wenzel contributed 16 points and Lanny White added 15, all scoring double numbers for Hokis.

Hockey fired over 58% of the pitch and dominated both the battles for recovery and turnover, reinforcing their command victory over Virginia.
