Hillary R. Gelps, DNP, Aprn, FNP -C – Baton Rouge Clinic

Born and grew up in Baton Rouge, Hillary R. Gelpi received a bachelor’s degree in a nurse science from Southeast University of Louisiana in 2007. He worked as a pH at the Regional Medical Center “Virgin Mary of the Lake for several years while visiting a postgraduate The University of the University of South Alabama. After receiving her Master’s Degree in Nurse in 2011, she received a certification as a family nurse from the American Association of Practitioners Nurses. In March 2012, Hillary joined the Baton Rouge clinic and worked as a nurse in the internal medicine department and our Emergency Clinic for nearly 12 years.

Hillary continues to gain a terminal by a nurse and received his doctor by nurse in 2023 from South University. In the summer of 2024, Hillary returned to the Baton Rouge clinic to join the hospital medicine clinic (HMG), where he worked as a practitioner in the stationary setting. Here she takes care of acutely ill patients, patients with hospice in the wing of butterflies, patients with emergency care and patients in several of the external HMG facilities.

Hillary is a member of both the Louisiana Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurses.

Residers in Baton Rouge, she, along with her husband and three children, are parishioners of the Catholic Church of St. Aloisia and enjoy a weekly Sunday liturgy, followed by a family dinner. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, working in the yard and driving a boat.
