The city of Hyalia presented its operational budget to the State Department of Florida State Efficiency, the first city in the state, city officials said.
The mayor of Hialeah Esteban Bovo, Jr., said their decision to the state working group of reflecting “the strong commitment of the city … for transparency, accountability and responsible financial management”.
Last month, Governor Ron Roani – by taking a page from billionaire Elon Musk to reduce federal costs – announced a new panel that will review about 900 state positions, university costs, local government costs and the need for about 70 state councils and committees.
“The Dog State Working Group will be an effort to continue to optimize our government and to continue to eliminate unnecessary bureaucracy,” said the governor of replicating the Federal Minister for the Efficiency of the Government, led my Musk.
This Tuesday BOVO and other urban officials will present a resolution sponsored by the President of the Council, Jacqueline Garcia-Roves, “confirming Hialeah’s commitment to cooperate with Dodge, emphasizing the city’s management in compliance with the financial provisions and responsible public funds.”
