Hialeah Gardens, FLA. – A hyaliah gardens are accused of killing her husband by blowing up their car.
Neighbors like Miguel Hernandez say an explosion awakened him from his dream in February.
“We heard explosions, some screams,” Hernandez said.
Near the home surveillance, a video filmed the explosion, which MPs from Sheriff Miami-Dad’s office said it was caused by an “unknown ignition device or an improvised explosive device”. Hernandez said he heard screams when the victim was burned alive.
According to MDSO, this happened shortly after 6am on February 1 in the 8800 block of the northwestern 114 terrace in the Hyalea gardens, outside the home of the suspect Noel Ruzter.
Investigators say the couple got into battle and the victim tried to get out of the car before being deliberately set on fire,
Fire crews in Miami-Dad found the victim of the front passenger seat, dead and “burned beyond recognition.”
Police said 50-year-old Ruethe-Mester called 911 after stomach in his stomach repeatedly. He was taken to the hospital in a critical condition and also suffered burns from the explosion.
Ruz-Mester faces second-degree killings and arson accusations and remains hospitalized since Tuesday.
The victim is not publicly identified.
