Hialeah complies with the efforts of Dogi, will allow the state city budget – NBC Miami

The city of hyalia on Tuesday approved a resolution that supports the establishment of Florida Government Ron Ron Ron Ron of the Government’s Governor’s Governor’s Executive Service (Doge).

“We have already had Doge in the city of Hyalea for a long time,” says Mayor of Hyalea Esteban Bovo outside the mayoralty, where he was surrounded by city officials from different departments.

Bovo wants the governor to know that his city is ready to let the state analyze its $ 485 million budget.

Last week, the governor called on the cities and districts to do the same as the hyle.

“We are working with Florida’s legislation to obtain more prescribed powers to be able to enter and conduct audits of these local authorities,” said the Government of Zanthis in a publication of X.

Bovo advertises that hyaliah has always been frugal by his budget.

“This is a city that has not raised taxes in the last 13 years,” Bovo said.

BOVO admits that Hialeah has challenges and said that the state may help find opportunities when it comes to efficiency and other issues.

“The ever -increasing price of insurance strangers many people in our community,” Bovo said.

In recent years, there has been an erosion of local control led mainly by the state, and therefore BOVO was asked to turn to whether it was concerned if it allows the state to analyze urban finances, it would further destroy what is called “home rule”.

Bovo said he doubted the state to force cities like Hyalia to eliminate the services.

“I don’t think there is a service we provide today that I would tell you that we could do without,” Bovo said.

“Is the city ready to release employees?” Alex Penelas, a NBC6 political analyst, wondered and added that he would look carefully to see what would happen afterwards.

“We will see in the coming weeks and months, if it is a legal effort to secure transparency and reduce costs, or it was just a political cascade to take some titles,” said Penels, who knows the local authorities well after being mayor of Miami-Dad and Hyalea’s advisor in the past.

Brian Kalvo, who is running for mayor of Hialeah, said the government was needed, but in this case he described it as a charm a week after he stated that the Council approved the pensions that were beneficial to the selected employees.

“The mayor and the City Council simply approved with a pension, retirement, deferred compensation for modesty until 2021,” said Kalvo, who added that this was the money.
