HFM celebrates the 18th birthday! – Harborough FM

HFM celebrates 18 years of full -time broadcast today.

The main stone comes after the radio station started with a live broadcast from the Market Harborough Square at 11am on February 10, 2007, after a number of short -term broadcasts.

HFM has staff almost entirely from a specialized volunteer team and continues to be at the heart of the community, thanks to those on the air and behind the scenes, companies that sponsor and advertise, the thousands of listeners who set up every day and all who support events and activities to raise funds at the station.

Harboro MP Neil O’Brien and CLR Phil Knowles, leader of the Harborrow Regional Council, praised HFM for the service it provides to the Community:
