In a solemn message, the police station in North Las Vegas identified the officer who made the ultimate victim in the fulfillment of the obligations. Policeman Jason Roskov, 46, was tragically shot and killed during a confrontation with an armed suspect near Lone Mountain and Camino Al Norte on Tuesday afternoon.

Officer Roskov, a specialized civil servant since 2007, has served in numerous divisions, including traffic and patrol operations. His unwavering commitment to debt was won by the prestigious sample service award – evidence of his courage, professionalism and dedication to the conservation of the community.

“His dedication to long and sustainability in challenging situations was won by the respect of his colleagues and the community he served. Policeman Roskov was more than a colleague; He was a friend, mentor and valuable member of our family of law enforcement, “said police officers in North Las Vegas.

The law enforcement agencies in Las Vegas honored officer Roskov with an official procession from the Corron Corron’s office of Clark County to the morgue and the cemetery in the center of Palma, noting the city’s deep respect and gratitude for his service.

Community vigil is scheduled for February 6 at 5:30 pm at Liberty Park, offering the public the opportunity to give their respect and support the Roskov family. Officer Roskov leaves behind his two young sons, 9-year-old Grayson and 4-year-old Andrew, who will forever carry their inheritance.

The funeral services will be held in the central church in the coming days, after which officer Roskov will be laid to rest in his hometown of Prari Du Rocher, Illinois.

For those who want to honor his memory and support his family, donations can be made at the injured police officer at Lexicon Bank, account No. 1000010630.

The life of an officer Roskov was defined by service, courage and a deep sense of duty – principles that should remind us of all everyday victims made by men and women who carry the badge.
